Image license and permissions

This page sets the terms for the images on kingiptv.ca: the homepage photo, the illustrations and the blog covers. It is also the license page named inside our image files and in their structured data, so anyone who finds one of our images knows who to ask and how.

  • All rights reserved
  • Linking is always fine
  • Requests by email, in English or French

Who owns the images on kingiptv.ca

King IPTV owns the images on kingiptv.ca, or holds whatever rights exist in them: we made them, or had them made for us. Some artwork is created with AI image tools, such as the crowned lion on our homepage, and those files say so in their metadata. Logos of other companies, such as the Interac e-Transfer mark, belong to their owners and are not covered by this page.

Unless this page or a written permission from us says otherwise, all rights are reserved. Device and app names that appear in our guides are covered by our legal disclaimer, which explains that every trademark belongs to its owner.

What you can do, and what needs permission

Linking to our pages never needs permission, and neither does the preview a social network creates when you share one of our links. Every other use of an image file, from copying it onto another site to editing it, needs a written yes from us first. The table sums up the common cases.

How to request an image license

To request a license, email help@supportiptv.ca with "Image license request" in the subject line. Our team reads requests every day from 9 a.m. to midnight Eastern, in English or in French, and replies by email. A complete request gets an answer faster, so include:

  1. The image: the URL of the page it appears on, or the file name, such as iptv-canada-king-iptv-lion-live-tv-1100.webp.
  2. Where it will appear: the website, app, document or ad, with a link when there is one.
  3. How you will use it: as it is, cropped or edited, and whether the use is commercial.
  4. How long and where: the period and the countries or provinces concerned.
  5. Who you are: your name, your organization and an email address for our reply.

The credit line to use

With permission, credit the image as "Image: King IPTV (kingiptv.ca)", close to the image, with a link to kingiptv.ca where the format allows one. The same words appear in the credit field of our files and in the image's structured data, so search engines and readers see one consistent name.

What the information inside our image files means

Our image files carry their own description, written in the IPTC and XMP standards that photo apps and Google Images read. Please leave it in place when you have permission to use a file. Each file lists:

  • Title and description: what the image shows, in plain words.
  • Creator, credit and copyright notice: King IPTV, "King IPTV (kingiptv.ca)" and the year.
  • Web statement of rights and licensor URL: links back to this page and to the request section above.
  • Digital source type: set to trained algorithmic media on images made with AI tools.
  • Alt text and keywords: the same accessible description the page itself uses.

The star rating stored in a file is only the rating a photo app shows for that file. It is not a review of King IPTV and is not presented as one anywhere on this site.

If you see our images used without permission

Tell us at help@supportiptv.ca with the address of the page where you saw the image. That helps us keep our artwork from being passed off as someone else's. Rights holders who believe kingiptv.ca uses their material should follow our copyright notice procedure instead.

FAQ

Questions about using our images

Can I put the King IPTV lion image on my own website?

Only with written permission. Write to help@supportiptv.ca with the page where the image would appear and what it would be used for. Linking to our homepage is always fine, and so is the preview a social network builds by itself when you share our link. Copying the file onto another site is what needs a yes from us first.

Is the homepage image of the lion made with AI?

Yes. The crowned lion watching TV was created with AI image tools for King IPTV, and we say so inside the file itself: its IPTC "digital source type" field is set to trained algorithmic media, the standard way to label AI-generated images. Google can read that field and show it in the image details.

Do you charge for using your images?

It depends on the use. When we answer a request, we say yes, no, or yes with conditions, and any condition or fee is stated in that email before you use anything. Nothing is agreed until you have our written reply. A request costs nothing to send.

How should I credit an image from kingiptv.ca?

Use the credit line "Image: King IPTV (kingiptv.ca)" close to the image, and link it to kingiptv.ca where the format allows a link. Keep the metadata inside the file as it is. If our written permission names a different credit, use that one instead.

Want to use one of our images?
