Apple TV, iPhone and iPad IPTV Setup for King IPTV

Have these ready first

• Any Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD, or an iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 15.6 or newer
• Your Apple Account, signed in to the App Store
• The King IPTV email holding your username, password and server URL (paid plan or free 24-hour trial)
• Home internet that holds about 10 Mbps for each Full HD stream, 25 Mbps or more for 4K
• Ideally an Ethernet cable; note the 64 GB Wi-Fi-only Apple TV 4K (2022) has no network port

Step by step: King IPTV on an Apple TV or iPhone

We follow the Apple TV and Siri Remote; iPhone and iPad screens match.

1. Search the App Store for Smarters Player Lite

   From the Apple TV Home Screen open App Store, go to the Search tab (magnifying glass) and type Smarters Player Lite. Confirm that the seller is WHMCS Smarters, because copycat apps borrow the name.

2. Click Get

   Select Get. You may be asked for the Apple Account password. The player is free; its paid upgrade is optional.

3. Launch it and accept the terms

   Open the app and select Accept on the terms page. Layout and language choices can be changed later.

4. Pick Login with Xtream Codes API

   On the add-user screen, choose Login with Xtream Codes API, which fills in movies, series and guide data for you. Some builds show only a playlist or URL option; in that case paste the M3U link from our email.

5. Enter Any Name, Username, Password and URL

   Name the profile anything, such as "Basement TV". Type the username and password exactly, capitals included. For URL, copy the server address from the email, keeping http:// and the port number.

   When a text box is active, your iPhone pops up an Apple TV Keyboard notification. Tap it to type or paste on the phone instead of the remote.

6. Click Add User and let it download

   Select Add User. Live channels load first, then movies, then series. On the Full Channels package that can take up to three minutes the first time, so wait for the dashboard tiles.

7. Choose Live TV and start a channel

   Open Live TV, pick a group on the left (Canadian news, French, sports), then click a channel. Back returns to the list while the picture keeps running.

8. Open the program guide

   Pick the guide view on the dashboard or inside Live TV and give it a minute to fill in. A channel marked "No information" has no listings yet; our EPG troubleshooting article explains why.

9. Repeat on the iPhone or iPad

   Install the same app on your phone or tablet and redo steps 3 to 6. Two devices playing at once need a 2-screen plan.

How to AirPlay IPTV from an iPhone to an Apple TV

Play the channel on your iPhone, then open Control Centre, tap Screen Mirroring and select the Apple TV. Apple’s AirPlay help page lists the same routine:

1. Put both devices on one Wi-Fi network.
2. Swipe down from the top-right corner (Face ID iPhones) or up from the bottom edge (Home button models).
3. Tap Screen Mirroring and choose the Apple TV; type the code if the TV shows one.
4. Finish with Control Centre, Screen Mirroring, Stop Mirroring.

A player with its own AirPlay icon (rectangle plus triangle) sends just the video, which looks cleaner. Many recent Samsung, LG and Sony TVs accept AirPlay too.

Which App Store players work with King IPTV?

Any Apple player that takes Xtream Codes or an M3U link will work. These four were listed in the Canadian App Store in October 2026:

Fixing common Apple TV and iPhone problems

Nearly every Apple issue is a login typo, weak Wi-Fi, an oversized list or a wrong clock.

• "Authentication failed": look for a capital letter or trailing space in the username. Trials end after 24 hours.
• Spinning wheel: wire the Apple TV, reboot the router, or switch from the 4K feed to the HD one. Our buffering checklist goes further.
• App quits during loading: use Settings > System > Restart, then ask us about the lighter English Channels Only list.
• Guide hours off: set Settings > General > Time Zone to automatic.

Tips for a better picture on Apple devices

On an Apple TV 4K, open Settings > Video and Audio > Match Content and switch on both Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate. Many overseas channels run at 50 frames per second; matching removes ticker stutter.

Over cellular, SD feeds stretch your data cap, and a charger helps for anything longer than a period.
