IPTV Smarters Pro Setup Guide: Log In, Load the EPG, Fix Errors

Have these ready first

• A supported device: Android phone or box, Fire TV Stick on Fire OS, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or an Apple silicon Mac
• King IPTV Xtream Codes details (username, password, server URL), from a plan or the 24-hour trial
• On Android and Fire TV: permission to install apps from outside the store, and a download link you trust
• A stable connection; wired is best for TV boxes

Logging in to IPTV Smarters Pro with King IPTV

1. Get the right edition for your device

   On iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or an Apple silicon Mac, install Smarters Player Lite from the App Store; the seller is WHMCS Smarters. On Android and Fire TV the app is installed as an APK file. Because modified copies circulate, ask us in Live Chat for a current download link before you install.

2. Open the app and accept the terms

   Accept the terms of use on first launch. If asked whether this is a phone or a TV, pick the matching option so the layout suits your screen.

3. Select Login with Xtream Codes API

   The welcome screen lists ways to add a playlist, typically Login with Xtream Codes API, Load Your Playlist or File/URL and Play Single Stream. Choose the Xtream option; it sorts live TV, movies and series for you.

4. Complete Any Name, Username, Password and URL

   Any Name is only a label, such as "King IPTV Den". Username and Password must match the email exactly, capitals included. URL is the server address, written like http://server-address:port with no extra path after the port.

5. Tap Add User and wait

   Press Add User. Live channels, movies and series download in turn; a full list can take three minutes. Errors are covered further down.

6. Explore the dashboard

   The home screen shows large Live TV, Movies and Series tiles, with smaller ones such as Catch Up and Multi-Screen. The account icon shows your expiry date, which is the quickest way to see when a trial or plan ends.

7. Download the TV guide

   Use Install EPG on the dashboard (on some builds it is a refresh icon), then open Live with EPG or the guide view inside Live TV. Listings off by an hour? Change EPG Timeshift in Settings.

8. Set favourites and parental control

   Long-press a channel (or hold OK on a remote) and pick add to favourites. For a family room, open Settings > Parental Control, create a PIN, then lock the categories children should not open.

Where to download IPTV Smarters Pro in 2026

Availability depends on the platform. This is what we found in October 2026:

Google removed the Android app after a Madrid court order in December 2022, and many look-alikes with "Smarters" in their names have appeared since, some asking for activation fees. Using catch-up, multi-screen and the player settings

Catch Up lists channels that keep an archive. Pick a channel, a date and a past program. An empty list for some channels is normal.

Multi-Screen splits the display into up to four boxes; tap each box to drop a channel in. Each box is a separate stream, so a four-way split needs a plan with four screens. On a 1-screen plan the second box will refuse to play.

Fixing common IPTV Smarters Pro errors

"Invalid username or password"

The server rejected the details. Retype them instead of pasting, since pasting often adds a trailing space. Phone keyboards also capitalize the first letter on their own. If the details are right, the trial may have run out after 24 hours, or a new order may still be in activation (15 to 30 minutes during support hours).

"Unable to connect" or a server error

This points to the URL or the network. Make sure it starts with http:// (not https), includes the colon and port, and has nothing after the port. Then confirm the device is online and its date and time are right. Office, hotel and school Wi-Fi often block streaming ports.

Channels play but keep stopping

That is a speed or Wi-Fi issue, not an app fault; see our guide to fixing buffering.

Keeping IPTV Smarters Pro up to date

Apple devices update Smarters Player Lite through the App Store automatically. On Android and Fire TV, install a newer APK on top of the old one and your users stay saved; uninstalling first wipes them.
